SPECIAL EDUCATION

Special education is a type of education designed for students with unique needs, abilities, or disabilities that require individualized instruction and support. The goal of special education is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in school and beyond, despite their challenges.

Types of special education:

 

  • Inclusive education : Students with special needs learn alongside their peers in regular classrooms.

  • Special classrooms : Students with special needs learn in separate classrooms with specially trained teachers.

  • One-on-one instruction : Students receive individualized instruction and support from a special education teacher.
