OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (OT)

Occupational therapy (OT) is a healthcare profession that helps individuals develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. Occupational therapists (OTs) work with patients to achieve independence, participation, and fulfilment in their daily activities, despite physical, cognitive, or mental health challenges.
OTs use a holistic approach, considering physical, emotional, and social factors to create personalized interventions. They work in various settings, including hospitals, schools, clinics, and communities, serving individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults.
